Vacation Bible School 2006 was a huge success.
With over 70 children in attendance, each day and a total of 363 adults and children over the three days, the students learned about the adventures of Daniel through puppet plays, classes, crafts and songs.  This year the teenagers assisted with the organization of the events and teaching some of the children.  Each day, both of the church buses delivered students and members from the community.  The children enjoyed pony rides and interaction with a live goat and turkeys.

On December the Third 2005  the secret sisters of 2005 were revealed.

The Third of February, 2005  marked a great devotional meeting at the Cumberland View Towers. The Burtons and 15 other members of Neely's Bend worshiped with and entertained 37 residents of the Tower.  Barbara gave us a plan of 14 things to do to strengthen not only our physical hearts but the heartfelt attitude about ourselves and those around us.  The room was decorated with Valentines and the snacks were heart shaped.  Go next month and enjoy the fellowship and love of the residents.

Our military men and women of the congregation overseas are being sent a "Box of Love from the Congregation.  Our Prayers are for them and their families.  May they return safe and quickly.

During the month of January,2005  the youth collected coats to be given to the needy. Quite a few children coats were given to a local program in the Bend so children will have coats for the cold weather.  Adult Coats will be distributed by the mission.

Free Home Bible Study is now offered on this web site. If you know anyone that you would like to study the Gospel of Christ send them to this web site. We also offer a correspondence course by mail.
